Located on common land to the east of Ammanford in Carmarthenshire,
Mynydd y Betws Wind Farm was granted planning consent in 2009.
The wind farm will consist of 15 turbines with a tip height of 110 metres
and an installed capacity of up to 37.5MW.
Enough electricity will be produced to power approximately 23,800 households,
equivalent to almost one third of the domestic consumption in Carmarthenshire and saving over
2 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions over the lifetime of the project.
